2018 → Tracey Turner
Originally conceived as a photobook, this narrative explored the side of a story we never see. Throughout the book the charater indulges in the most ordinary of tasks, because the mundane is beautiful and we are only human.
Tracey Turner is a fictional character portrayed by the artist. Displayed in a photobook narrative, her story deals with themes of absence and prescene. This narrative was inspired by the parts of daily life that never make it into a story because they don’t progress the narrative. We see Tracey putting on a pair of tights, doing the washing up and sitting in silence as the sun light and shadows drift through the images.
Aenean aliquet nec nibh et aliquet. Sed in lorem sed est
ultricies aliquet.
A motif of trainlines, runs through this project. Tracey was born into existence because I believe that in a past life I died in a train related accident.
